Vanessa and I raised over £200 (£220 12/8/03). Thanks to all who contributed. The team raised over £600. This is less than last year but there were fewer of us. Unfortunately, two members got stuck in Northampton when their car broke down and two others have not been heard of since trying a practice drink on the Friday before. The team comprised Ursula (captain), Vanessa, John, Pat (aged 81 !), Paul and Joy. We completed the course in about 3 hours which included an appropriate number of refreshment stops (again, fewer than last year, unfortunately.) One encouraging sign was that more of the pubs en route were open this year, they have obviously cottoned on to the fact that we need regular sustenance. We all returned to Ursula's house afterwards for an excellent meal and yet more drinks. Sorry, no pictures this year.
