The Northern Poly Ramblers Walk March 18th 2006

The Northern Poly Ramblers are a loose association of friends who intend to walk the length of the Thames River during 2006.

The first walk was on the 18th of March 2006 and started from Tower Bridge going towards Greenwich, a distance of approximately 5.8 miles. The walk was primarily the southern side of the Thames. Return was via the Docklands Light Railway from Island Gardens station. We met at Tower Bridge Station at 10:15 and started off in a bitterly cold wind. The air temperature was certainly at or below 0 and the chill factor was probably 5 degrees or more - we wrapped up well!
